Pokemon Traits
(Under Construction)
Though Pokemon do not possess function based on calculated stats on this site, information is saved as approximate guidelines in battling. And knowing general characteristics of the different species, chances are that a Minun even twenty levels higher than a Slaking probably isn't going to have more physical attack power. With that in mind, these are the specifics recorded for individual Pokemon in your profiles, with an example of a properly recorded Pokemon being given:
Name and species names are simple, and please remember to put them in that order. Nature refers to stat distribution, and helps to determine which Pokemon has more prowess in what. So if two of the same Pokemon are near the same level, and attack with the same move, a Brave Pokemon is more likely to be stronger than its Calm counterpart. The levels are for plain experience and recording at what level your Pokemon evolved. Even if the Pokemon has been traveling with you for countless years before you reached the Academy, if it comes in at level 20, it's still at level 20, and that's where it's stats and moveset will be judged. If your wild Pikachu evolved at level 7, and it successfully uses Discharge in battle, you will be slapped with a frozen Magikarp.
Speaking of movesets, Pokemon on this site reflect the anime in which they can learn more than 4 moves. They are considered to know all the natural moves they would've known up to that point. However, moves learned only through tutors, and breeding will require a special mention if you intend to use them.
