Ranks And Badges
As you progress through your certification levels at the Academy, you will be awarded new badges that prove you have mastered the core material, allowing you access more areas on and off Academy grounds, and allowing you to accept more demanding occupations. In order to recieve a new badge you must have the recommendation of a staff member or equivalent grade tamer, along with completing both the written and arena exams. Those who desire only a license to work with Pokemon and not own them are only required to take the written exams and are awarded an Academy Rank instead of a badge. There are a total of six badges that may be aquired, and liscense to own comes with four, assuming the equivalent rank has been aquired. Once all six badges have been aquired, license to own comes regardless of written proficiency, though you still require the recommendation of staff.

Tome Badge Confirms that a student has functional knowledge of complex movesets and how they are best used. | Vision Badge Confirms that a student has proficiency in arranging a team by using one of their own design. |
