.:Character Creation Guidelines :.
As much as we appreciate dynamic and well thought-out characters in RP, designing a character to fit into the site universe will allow for a much more practical and sensible session. Eccentricity is fine, but don't make a character that is like comparing apples to fishing boats, it just can't be judged appropriately. That doesn't mean you can't convert a trait for use in the Pokemon Universe however; if you want a character that can wield fire for example, maybe they have learned a fire type technique from their Pokemon such as Ember. Don't expect to waltz in the door already the Surpreme Elemental Sage of the World or anything though. People have to progress over time just like Pokemon do.
In order to narrow your ideals about what is allowed and what is not, please look to some of the key points below:

In order to narrow your ideals about what is allowed and what is not, please look to some of the key points below:
- Please no crossover material. Though adding elements from another series may bring new elements and depth to an RP, it is difficult to regulate the use of such element in terms or powerplay and balancing how effective such traits would be in a post.
- No human character should be significantly more powerful than Pokemon as a whole. That means all those martial artists and apprentices of the blade out there, no matter how skilled you are or how much experience you have as a whole, your character will not be able to fell a Dragonite with a flick of the wrist. Certain skills earned may allow you to be comparable to a Pokemon; even the Legendaries if the opportunity arises. But in general, Pokemon trained to a basic level are swifter, stronger, heal significantly faster, and generally more practical for battle and work than their human counterparts.
- Human characters with a power is encouraged but please nothing outrageous. Your character shouldn't be able to fly or turn invisible. Characters with mastery in aura, or perhaps magic tricks are very much wanted. We are a very open site. We will however deny your character if somehow they magically grew wings or bought an invisibility cloak.
- Bisexual characters are also encouraged. We try not to discourage the use of Homosexual characters. For those of you on this site who are not heterosexual we try to make this place open. However, due to proboard rules we are not allowed to have 100% gay and or lesbian characters so we have to go in between.
