Pokemon Academy
To all of my friends at Pokemon Academy,
Thank you for putting up with me and
giving me the best time of my life.
Welcome To Pokemon Academy
Blood slowly dripped down the side of my face, completely out of breath, and severely hurt. “There’s no way we can win,” said David.
I looked over to him he was kneeling next to Sunny, and Victoria, both unconscious.
“No... there has to be a way, this is my first year at this academy. I have friends, family and a fiance to take care of. No, we have to win... No after all that’s happened... do we really die here?” I said a new stream of blood flowing down the side of my face. Blurriness began to fill my vision. I was going to faint, I knew it. The images before me began to falter in and out of focus. “Artemis... help.. me..” I whispered to myself before falling to the ground, just as darkness began to take control of my world, images of my first day here began to fill my eyes.
“Just stop right here mom. I can walk the rest of the way.” I said not wanting my mother to get any closer to the school.
“Are you sure Honey? I can pull the rest of the way up.”
“Yes Mom I’m sure. Thank you for letting me go to school here,” I said grabbing my grab bag filled with clothes and other household items. My hand gripped the door handle pulling on it making the door open. Just being outside of the campus made me nervous. I slowly stepped out of the car shutting the door behind me. My mom yelled something to be before driving off. But all I could hear was the sound of my own heart beats. I took a deep breath taking the steps towards the campus gate. Inside you would hear a classbell ringing, and groups of students rushing across the campus.
There was an intercom next to the gate, slowly walking over to the small machine; and pressed the red button. A few second later a lady’s voice came over the intercom.
“Hello?”
Even her voice made him relax a bit, it was soft and serene, it made him think like everything was going to be alright. “Uhh... H.Hello?”
“Yes Sir, How may I help you?”
“My name is Jeffrey Alexander Lipfert, and I believe I was scheduled for my placement battle today?”
“Ahh Yes, Jeffrey-Kun, we have been expecting you. Please come in, come in. Report to the Principal's office first, you need to file out some paper work.”
“Y..Yes Ma’am.”
The intercom fizzled and dropped dead. A loud creaking sound, meaning that the gates were being opened. I watched them as they opened slowly, every inch the metal making a creaking sound. I stood there until it completely opened, and even then I was hesitant. My heart pounded in my chest, I was nervous, and that feeling made me excited. I walked through the gates onto the other side.
As I stepped through the gates, they quickly closed with a loud metallic slam. The sudden sound made me almost have a heart attack. I took a gasp and held it for several seconds it felt like my heart was going to explode out of my chest. A few second later I started to calm down. Taking a look around now, it looked fairly nice on campus. “Is... Is that a Club? On campus?” I said straining my eyes to see better. It was a failure I was too far away to see clearly.
Dismissing the idea, I continued up the sidewalk leading to the school. Ahead of me was a guidance board. As I walked closer to it the small lettering became clearer, until I was finally face to face. There was a small red star on the board meaning that I was there. The school was in the middle of a five sections campus. The Emerald Club, “Hmm, So it is a club. Mental note, check that place out later.”
The Emerald Club was on the far left corner of the school. Next was Diamond Park it was West of the school.”Hmmm A Park? Really? That would be fairly interesting.”
North of the school was Crystal Lake. “Crystal... Lake? Is it a Lake full of Crystal? Or is the Water Crystal Clear?”
Next up was Sunset Peak, that was East on Campus. “Ooh... A tall place where people can watch the sunset. Oh Yes, what a wonderful place. It’s a quiet peaceful place to think, while others jump off and kill themselves. Sheesh...”
To the South East was Pearl Theatre. “Hmmm A Theatre, Hah. Not often a school has- Hellooo, What is this?” In the lower right hand corner of the guidance board was a small note, in even smaller lettering. “Off Campus Areas, Include: Pokemon Kingdom, and Mystical Mountain. Warning Mystical Mountain is only used for school events and are not allowed to exceed entrance without special permission. An Amusement Park? Hah! This school has everything!” I exclaimed. Some of the students heard what I said. Even a few came to investigate.
“Hmm? You look new. What’s your name kid?”
I blinked at him, frankly I was unsure how to answer. One because I didn’t know him, two because he had his pokemon out, standing right behind him. “Jeffrey... Lipfert...”
“Hmmm You... are.. ne- What are you looking at?” He said staring at him, his eyes obviously wasn’t looking at him. He was looking at something else.
I continued to stare at his pokemon. “Feraligatr...”
He blinked a few times, he looked behind him looking up at his pokemon. “That’s Feraligatr, he’s my pokemon. Well my pokemon of choice. What? You scared of him or something?”
I quickly shook my head from side to side, disagreeing with his acclaim. “No... No. Feraligatr is an amazing pokemon. My Favorite pokemon is in fact Totodile. Just the way he’s always so hyper and runs around, always makes me smile.”
The boy was amused with this. “Heh... Well I got him as a Totodile right after my entrance exam. Of course, I aced it. So they gave me him as a beginning pokemon. Heh, What am I telling you this for ya noob. You’re supposed to be somewhere. So get there before I have Feraligatr here kick you there.”
“Ugh... Y..Yes Sir...” I said quickly turning around and walking off. In the background one could hear him laughing, before walking off on his own merry way.
I continued to walk on my way to the Principle's office, it was easy to get into the school the doors weren’t very far from where I originally came in. Once inside the school was as big as it had looked outside; Huge. The ceiling was high, tile flooring, and blue colored lockers covering both sides of the hall. The hall of course was completely empty and surprisingly rather clean. Granted there were a few piece of paper here and there, smudges on the tiling. (Not to mention dirt on the floor but duh.) It wasn’t like any other highschool, there was no writing on the walls, profanity written on lockers. And the water fountains looked clean. “This place can’t be real.” I whispered to myself looking around as walk down the hall.
It wasn’t long before I was completely lost, I had no bloody idea where to go. Upstairs, Downstairs, Left, Right, Middle. Didn’t matter where I went there was no possible way for me to get to the office. “Bloody Hell, Where the devil is the office?”
“The main office is downstairs, take a left, and it should be at the end of the hall.” Said the soft and serene voice again.
Jeffrey just stood there, blinking even though the voice was soft it didn’t stop it from surprising him. “T..Thank you.” I said turning around, there was a young girl standing there wearing a pure white dress, long black hair, and deep beautiful purple eyes. The young girl smiled giving a small wink, turning around and waving goodbye.
“Good Luck,” she said just before disappearing around another corner of the school.
Jeffrey just stared and watched as she disappeared blinking. What the Bloody Hell just happened? Oh! I need to get to the Principle's office. He followed the young girl’s directions finally finding the office. Yes! Finally! Thank you!
I quickly walked through the office doors half way expecting a big welcome. Yet there was no confetti, no yelling, no partying. There were teachers, quickly tapping away on their computers. To the next of me I saw a student, jet black lightly spiked hair. A stern face, and murderous red eyes. A cold creeped it’s way up and bback down my spine. It felt like he was looking through me, as he saw me as a meat of meat. Just something that he could kill. “What are you looking at?”
My hair was quick to stand on end, my voice was a loss of words, and I had no idea what to say. “A buh.. Buh uh you.. No.. N.. Nothing.” The Gallade sitting next to him quickly stood up getting read for battle.
My stuttered answer didn’t seem to be in his favor as his stern face began to tighten into anger. “Gallade! X-Scissor.” The Gallade crossed his arms tightening it’s focus, taking the few steps needed to attack Jeffrey.
(Of course I had the entire situation under complete control. I didn’t freak up and kept completely calm.) I quickly crossed my arms over my chest, screaming at the top of my lungs. (Heh, Then again maybe not.)
Just as the Gallade was finished his attack and all seemed hopeless, it unleashed it’s attack on my helpless body.
I waited for contact, waiting to die, waiting to be frantically injured. Waiting for such a sting that it would never go away. I waited, and Waited, but nothing ever came.
After a few more seconds of waiting, I cracked the open the corner of my eye. The Gallade in question was still there. Surrounded by a kind of purple aura. Opening my eyes the rest of the way, I saw that the Gallade was suspended in midattack. A few seconds more and said X-Scissor would have nailed me straight in the chest. Thank God. Who saved me?
I quickly scanned the area looking for my savior. I found the source, and I almost kicked myself in the butt because of it. Why didn’t I guess what it was? I must have simply not heard the command. It was of course the Principal, in all her glory. With her pokemon; Espeon. The Gallade was caught in a confusion, leaving it completely to the user’s mercy.
The Principal sighed, glaring at the trainer of the Gallade. “Clark! How dare you attack a harmless student. He hasn’t even taken his entrance exam yet. Let alone have his first pokemon. This is worse than when you attacked another student at a school event for simply defeating you. This is the final straw Clark, your behavior is beyond tolerable, from now you are hereby suspended from Pokemon Academy until you get a letter saying otherwise. Dark, please escort this student out of the school.”
I will admit, It's not the best. And it take place in my point of view. And what's more I've been busy with Amnesia. :3 I will make more, and it will get better as I go along.
