She had had many friends, as a little girl. When she had carried that porcelain doll around her everywhere, travelling between the plains. She had taught each of them what a four-sided Triangle was, and they knew what she was. They knew she was Truth. And that day, she wore a silk blouse and a knee-length pleated skirt, but her feet were bare. Sometimes a Queen just needed to be able to feel the ground beneath her feet, feel the Earth. Her smile was warm and bright; the smile of a content child.
She waltzed into the library with such graceful ease, a book already held in her hands with a thick leather cover and copper binding. Her eyes held that vague look that meant she was absorbing her surroundings, but taking them in a whole different way. Her quicksilver curls hung in a french braid and a golden circlet slipped over her head, holding her fringe back. Whether they meant to do it or not; these people had definitely given her a childhood again.
Tsukiko took a seat in one of the back corners of the library in an old leathery armchair, folding her legs underneath her and set to work trying to read a very "male-written" passage, by her standards.

Sjha sat in an arm chair, well, the correct term would be he ‘curled’ into a chair, much like a cat or any other beastly animal would as it prepared to sleep. The small child quickly fell asleep; he did many times here in the library, it gave him comfort and a feeling of peace... it was the only real sleep he got around here in the castle. He was a servant here for about a year and a half now, after the little insistent he was put into; he now worked here for the royal family so he could have food, shelter, and a job to pay for the costs of his military training.
He wandered what time it was; he noticed that the library had times when it was busy and he would be caught sleeping, other he could nap as long as he wished. He didn’t hear anyone coming, and the spirits which followed him didn’t alert him as well, so he let the wispy vial of sleep over come him.

Stupid passage. It was definitely written in male. Tsukiko's clean, dark psychic scent flared and spiked with frustration as she tried to decipher the first few sentences. Tsukiko was the daughter of the Queen in Earth Hall, and to-be Queen by the matriarchal line. She was known to be the outcast, the one who never shared her cup when they traditionally celebrated; the one who had been going in and out of a hospital for the emotionally disturbed since she was five. To her mother and father, she had no talent in Druids' magic; but to the Steward of the Court, Luce - well, he knew better.
After twelve minutes, she impatiently stood up and searched through the lifeforces in the library to find a male's; and found it in a couple of seconds, actually. With Linnie clutched in one arm and the book in the other, Tsukiko walked down to the other end of the library and came upon a sleeping slave. Now, usually it wasn't in her nature but he was the only male around... "Wakey wakey. I need your help." Once he was awake, she held out the book and pointed to the passage. "Do you understand this?'

Sjha sleepily woke up and rubbed his eyes as he was awoken from his nap “What..?” He ask, more to him self then the girl. He looked around the room, not noticing her at first, but on his second glance when he did, he quickly noticed the book, and the passage she wanted read to her. He read it over a few times, but couldn’t understand it. “I can’t” He said, then curled back into his little ball. “And why should I?” He asked, she looked like a dress maid; a servant to was used to fit the royal families clothing. They were not uncommon to see in castles.
He reached one arm out and made a small jester with his hand “Find someone else to read your book, I’m tired.” He returned his arm back to it’s position and rolled up tighter.

"I thought Jazen would have taught the servants who I was, that seems unfair..." She mused, and fiddled with the golden circlet. "I'm the Queen's daughter, so unless you want to have no dinner I suggest you get up and help me find someone who can understand this..." A hard look gathered in her sapphire eyes, and she propped her hands on her hips. "Unless you want to be a chewtoy for Dallan, I really do suggest you help me..."
Dallan was a massive, six hundred plus pound Polar Cat who was Tsukiko's best friend, and would do whatever she said. Everyone tried not to upset Dallan, it was simple fact. Everyone knew about Dallan and everyone knew about his unlikely partnership.

He let out a small chuckle and did not move. “Aww, is the pampered little princess angry that her servant won’t pamper her?” He sat up and stretched with a yawn “I’m here of my own will, by right I really don’t have to listen to you if I don’t want to. Speak with the pique you wish towards me, I’m not afraid of your dilapidated words.” He stood up and looked her in the eyes; his sapphire hues void of any sign of a soul; they were colder then death it’s self. An indifferent smile slowly crossed his face “Let your kitten come, I like it’s pelt...” Another small chucked resonated from deep within as he pictured his deeds “I’ve wanted to make a coat out of the beast”
His eyes continued to star deep into her; looking close enough, some even said those icy eyes hid behind them the blights of sin which the boy had witnessed
